Letter to Father Hayes from Corporal Patrick McGrath, Military Police Service, 3rd Field Company, Detention Barracks, Cork, following up on his letter of 1 January 1942 (P134/12/1/1/4/4) regarding accommodations for his wife and children. Cpl. McGrath writes 'its a lovely place for both boys and girls so please if its possible try and fix up the Mrs and tell her it is up to her now to try and start and make a home as I will do my part and try and have them with us again as I feel the strain more perhaps than what she do.'
