Letter (unsigned) to Canon Hayes from the Assistant Organiser of the Revolutionary Communist Party 4th Internationale – English Section, 20 March 1954. The letter is in response to Canon Hayes' articles on the 'Vanishing Irish' and states that despite Hayes' sincere efforts to put new life into rural areas and stemming emigration, 'your hands are tied in several ways'. The author introduces himself as a native of Raphoe, County Donegal, who emigrated to Britain. He notes that his party intends to overthrow the Irish government and establish a 'People's Republic', and relates the stories of several other Irish emigrants living abroad, before outlining his party's platform and intended goals ('Forward then to a new and better Ireland with the Revolutionary Communist Party where real social justice and true Christianity will go hand in hand.')
