2 drafts of a lecture given by Father Hayes in the early years of Muintir na Tíre stressing the need to preserve 'Christian Social Order', states, that Muintir na Tíre will make the parish the basic unit of organisation in order to avoid class conflict, and talks about organisational structure and cooperation with other groups. He notes that Muintir na Tíre now has a guild in Tipperary with 300 plotholders.
