Lease of 45a 1r 27p of Carrowreagh, [parish of Fohanagh], barony of Kilconnell, in the occupation of the Hogans, William Daly and Denis St George Daly, both of Dunsandle, to John Hogan, senior and John Hogan, junior, Kilconnell, Co Galway, farmers, for 31 years at an annual rent of £49. Includes a rough ground map of the lands. Also 2 letters, the first from John Hogan, Loughrea to Denis Lord Dunsandle, agreeing to take the farm at ‘Carrarea’ [Carrowreagh] as a tenant from year to year, at a rent of £68.5.10. and stating the terms (27 May 1879). The second letter from John Hogan, Kilconnell to John Kinneen, relating to the tilling of part of the lands he holds at Carrowreagh and informing him that the family ‘that lives in Hillswood gate house’ may be going to America (19 Mar 1899).
