Scope and content

Assorted items including a print pamphlet of "Loan Collection of Works by Sir Frederic W. Burton", published by the National Gallery of Ireland (1900); Print edition (fragile condition) of "Zvon" magazine, published in Czech, 1907.
These items were deposited by Ben Kennedy (great grandson of Lady Gregory). In his letter of deposit he notes that the catalogue of artworks listed by the National Gallery and owned by Burton belonged to Lady Gregory and that she likely viewed the collection, with artworks listed in the catalogue as having a West of Ireland connection have a mark beside them. Kennedy also notes that the Czech publication was published in Prague with an article about Lady Gregory by included by Karel Musek. These pages have annotation, in handwriting that is similar to Gregory's own.
