Scope and content
Lecture by Father Hayes emphasising the cooperative relationship between farmers and farm labourers versus the 'impersonal' relationship between factory employers and employees. Father Hayes uses this to build the argument that 'the best organisation for rural workers is one based on neighbourliness, on the community, and on co-operation between all classes already so united'. He then espouses the advantages of a vocational order, and promotes Muintir na Tíre as the organ by which to develop such an order.
