Letter from Jane Elizabeth Roberts, [Ux]bridge Place, Carnarvon, Wales, daughter of George Ormsby and niece to Christopher Ormsby, 134 Rathfarnham Rd., Dublin. In the second letter she acknowledges receipt of his letter and an order for £184.12s.4d. and agrees to send an indemnity which will "constitute a legal release for the amount of the legacy due to my late father from the residuary property of my grandfather Thomas Ormsby of Ballinamore". She also requests that he will let her know "in what shares the proceeds of the houses were divided by you, as I always understood from my beloved mother that the shares when distributed would have been larger, as there were only five legatees under my grandfather's will entitled to it".
