-Letter from Father Gibbons inviting Canon Hayes to give a lecture on Muintir na Tíre to the local Macra na Feirme club. He writes that there is an attempt to get a creamery started there, and that they need an organisation like Muintir na Tíre to 'get the support of the whole community for any enterprise for the common good' (19 October 1956, 2pp);
-Unsigned draft of letter, likely from Canon Hayes' secretary Tom Fitzgerald, informing Father Gibbons that Canon Hayes is unable to take part in any engagements at the moment due to illness but writes that if he were to write again in March or April, 'I am sure he would be delighted to your Club a lecture' [Note: Canon Hayes passed away on 30 January 1957.] (9 November 1956, 1p).
