Typescript "Work on first draft - two-act version" of Thomas Kilroy's adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts . Bearing many handwritten annotations and corrections (similar to previous draft fragment); folder bears quotation from R. Lowell, 1969: "I lean heavily to the rational, but am devoted to surrealism". Age of one member of cast "Mrs. Helen Aylward", changed from "early sixties" to "late fifties". [Paginated 1-244, with an insert on p.73.]

Typescript translations by [ ] of [Luigi Pirandello's play Six Characters in Search of an Author ], and of his preface, beginning "A very smart little servant, not inexperienced, has been serving my art...". With handwritten markings and comments by Thomas Kilroy; indicating cuts of characters, and cuts of text. Including second fragment copy of preface. Enclosing letter and reply, Clare Hayes Brady, Booterstown, to Kilroy; she had borrowed the translation (May 2007). [Paginated 1-13 and 1-82. Translator not named. Boxlist calls this a "literal translation ... commissioned by Abbey Theatre".]
