Letters to John Wilson Lynch from his land agents Edward Kendall, Tally Ho, Athenry and A W Hazell, Prospect, Athenry, Co. Galway, mainly relating to agreements to fix the rent between landlord and tenant. On 3 July 1901 A W Hazell sent John Wilson Lynch 41 agreements to sign [see LE6/B/584]. Includes one memorandum from Major Lopdell, former agent, and letters from William Healy [see LE6/B/570] and John R Lopdell [see LE6/B/587]. It is important to also consult the A W Hazell letters in the Belvoir correspondence as he often referred to both estates in the one letter. [see also LE6/B/604-5 and B/679-683].

Memorandum from Major Lopdell, stating that £4 was paid on the holding at Duras in 1883, but he is unsure if it was the tenant of the time, P. Hynes, or the previous tenant, John Geoghegan of Roo Demesne, who was ejected in 1882.

Letter from Edward Kendall, Clifden, Co Galway to John Wilson Lynch, thanking him for his remittance. He is sorry that he cannot attend at Duras more often, and suggests to John Wilson Lynch that he might like to reconsider the situation.
