In reply Coiril gives the names of four original plays, but states that he will have to contact the authors as they have no authority to pass scripts around [in Irish].

He states that the plays they are interested in broadcasting are "Námhaid don Phobal", "Céad bliain d'Aois", "Scaipín na gCleas" and "Cinneamhain". In reply Máirín states that they would be ready to do "Scaipín na gCleas" once the script for radio had arrived [in Irish].

Correspondence between Rev. Fr. Moran, St. Augustine's, Galway and Máirín Nic Alasdair, asking for the use of the hall, reply states that he can have it on the 9th, but that it is promised to Brigid Hanley on the 16th.

Correspondence between Ria Mooney, Abbey Theatre, Dublin and Máirín Nic Alasdair, relating to the possibility of her producing "The Good Hope" for them. She informs them that she may be going to America (30 Sept 1950), in a later letter she outlines her commitments in the Abbey, and suggests that it be postponed until January (25 Oct 1950). In reply, Máirín Nic Alasdair outlines the position in the Taibhdhearc, stating that the plays in November and December "…are two exhausting plays on both Taibhdhearc personnel and Taibhdhearc treasury", and suggests that they postpone her production until well into the following year (30 Oct 1950).

Correspondence between Roibeard Mac Gadhráin, Bainisteoir, Gael-Linn, Baile Átha Cliath and Coiril Ó Mathúna, asking if the play "Bior" by Diarmuid Ó Suilleabhán won the prize at that year's Oireachtas, and why they had not heard officially. Coiril replies that the Directors will bring the matter up with the Secretary of the Oireachtas when they meet him [in Irish].

Correspondence between Roibéard Ó Longaigh (Bob Long), 7 Langford Row, Cork, and Máirín Mac Alasdair, relating to his acceptance of the position as Director at An Taibhdhearc for six months from January to July 1951. In the last letter the Directors inform him that his contract is finished, and that they have re-advertised the position (4th July 1952).

D'Alton], sent to Mr. Cleary (note at bottom indicates the letter was also sent to Mary Cronin and Rory Broderick, appealing to them to reconsider their decision to resign. Letter signed by Cleary, Cronin, and Broderick outlining their reasons for the resignation. Separate letter from Mary Cronin thanking Mr. D'Alton for his original letter, and hoping they may still resolve their differences.
