He also refers to Michael Liddane's attempt to 'blacken mu character' over his turbary rights.
Letter from AW Hazell, informing him that the Head Land Court will sit in Limerick on 29 Jn and that there are 13 Belvoir cases listed. He sends him the court valuers' figures and a list showing clearly the position of each case. He discusses some of the cases with regard to the area involved and improvements made and suggest John Wilson Lynch has an interview with Mr Healy the next time he is in Ennis with regard to his evidence as to value.

He hopes John Wilson Lynch has had an interview with Mr Healy about the evidence to be given at the Court of Appeal and asks whether he is to attend at Limerick.
Letter from AW Hazell, stating that he hopes John Wilson Lynch will not ask him to attend the appeals at Limerick. He is sorry he has a cold. In a postscript he asks will he settle with Thomas Mooney, Knockaculleen for £9.10, whose yearly rent is £11 and Poor Law Valuation £8.15.
Letter from AW Hazell, enclosing a letter he wants returned and asking for John Wilson Lynch's views regarding some matter relating to Mrs McInerney's holding on Aughinish. He had written to 'Pery RM' [Hon H de Vere Pery] explaining the position after 'there was law at Ballyvaughan Session between some people and young McInerney' but Pery was angry with him for writing. He thinks the matter should be put before the County Inspector.
