Printed programme from the concert held at the Seapoint Leisure Centre, Salthill, Galway,conducted by Dimitri Goya with Alexander Laszlo, leader and solo violinist and Levente Soos, oboe soloist, "under the auspices of the Romanian Ministry of Culture'. Includes list of Friends of Music for Galway, details of works performed and details on the orchestra and its lead members. 5 copies. TS press release publicising the concert and TS programme notes/articles on the works performed - article entitled "Tale of the Invisible city of Kitezh: Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov". Correspondence includes fax letter from John Gritten, Hon. Secretary of London Schubert Players Trust, to Jane O'Leary, Programme Co-ordinator of Music for Galway, outlining background, fees and repertoire of the Silvestri Orchestra (21, 23, 29 Jun 1994) TS letter from O'Leary to John Gritten "to confirm that Music for Galway will promote a concert by the Constantine Silvestri Philharmonic in Galway?" (1 Aug 1994) Further correspondence between Music for Galway, John Gritten and various hotels and venues around Galway detailing accommodation and travel details for the orchestra, enclosing programme notes and discussing works to be performed. (Aug 1994) TS letter signed by John [Gritten] to Dr. Jane O'Leary of Music for Galway stating "On behalf of the Constantin Silvestri Philharmonic Orchestra and ourselves I would like to thank you, Madeline and all involved in the concert at Seapoint for your hospitality, friendliness and hard work to make it a success."
