Commission on the Constitution: Minutes of Evidence III Northern Ireland, London, 1970, 192pp.
Material in this sub-series relates to the Commission on the Restoration of the Irish Language and includes reports, articles, essays, minutes, correspondence and cuttings. It spans the period 1940s to the 1980s, although it also includes some photocopies from slightly earlier in the 1920s. Some of this material seems to have been used for research purposes and includes notes [by Donncha Ó Súilleabháin?] possibly dating from the 1980s. Without altering what arrangement was perceived to exist, the material is filed in chronological order where possible.

Published report of the European Commission of Human Rights on the Nasır İlhan application, heavily annotated on the front and back pages by Françoise Hampson. The Commission concluded:
i) by 27 votes to 5 that there had been a violation of Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights;
ii) unanimously that there has been a violation of Article 3 of the Convention;
iii) by 29 votes to 3 that there had been a violation of Article 13 of the Convention.

Report of the European Commission of Human Rights adopted in the İsmet Gündem case on 3 September 1996. The Commission concluded:
i) by 28 votes to 1, that there had been no violation of Articles 3, 5 § 1 and 8 of the Convention and Article 1 of Protocol No. 1;
ii) by 26 votes to 3, that there had been a violation of Article 6 § 1 of the Convention;
iii) by 26 votes to 3, that no separate issue arose regarding Article 13 of the Convention;
iv) by 28 votes to 1, that there had been no violation of Article 18 of the Convention.
