Scripts for television and radio commercials for the Italian Swiss Colony; The Italian Swiss Colony were wine and brandy producers whose Asti Vineyards were located in Sonoma County, California. The advertising campaign was produced by Honig-Cooper Company Advertising of 1275 Columbus Ave., San Francisco 11, California. The television scripts consist of Video and Audio, for example Video: 'Pan up to top half of barrel with brand name and date and Shields, Stay on Shields, raps barrel with knuckles'. Audio consists primarily of lines to be spoken by Arthur Shields, for example Audio: 'This...is a very special Port wine...very special because every drop has been mellowed in redwood...aged in redwood for extra mellowness. In short, this is Italian Swiss Colony California Port. The mellowest port you ever tasted, or my name isn't Arthur Shields.' Also includes business cards of individuals involved in the campaign and a copy of an article from the 'San Francisco News' of October 26th [1957] under the 'Wine-Tasting Part Was Surprise' , Shields is described in the article as a 'TV wine announcer'.

*It is likely that Dáire Ó Broin / Daire O’Broin is a son of Giolla Críost Ó Broin.
