Correspondence received by Canon Hayes over the course of 1941 and 1942 including requests for help; information; congratulations on successful meetings; notice of guild meetings; requests for meetings; and organisational correspondence regarding Rural Week 1942. The letters were arranged by Canon Hayes' secretary, Tom Fitzgerald, who has created a list of letters identifying their date and who they are from. Each letter is annotated with the page number listed by Fitzgerald. One letter from 1948 is also present.
Text of the address recorded by Canon Hayes to be presented at the annual general meeting of the Castlemahon Parish Guild of Muintir na Tíre, County Limerick. Canon Hayes writes that his physical presence is not necessary as the Castlemahon guild is 'too healthy to require such attention' and congratulates the guild on its strength. Canon Hayes talks about the works Muintir na Tíre has accomplished and talks about the Parish Plan for Agriculture on its eighth anniversary. Includes an original draft, a copy of the draft with annotations and corrections, and a photocopied version of the corrected draft.
