-Letter from Grisewood to Nash informing him that he and his wife do not wish to sell property for a Garda barracks, and while they will sell property for a new church and curate's house as asked the previous April, donating property for both the church and the barracks would deplete the farm too much as they only have 94 acres (undated, 1p);
-Letter from Nash to Canon Hayes enclosing the above letters (9 October 1956, 1p).
Letter to Canon Hayes from Denis J. Borland, Dromcollogher, County Limerick, offering to be one of Muintir na Tíre's representatives on a National Council of Agriculture. He notes that he gave evidence before the Pigs and Bacon Commission and the Vocational Commission, and currently farms 118 acres.
Letter to Canon Hayes from Mary Buckley, the Grail Centre, Johannesburg asking Canon Hayes for help in setting up a training and scholarship for girls ready for apostolic training in the Grail overseas, as the Grail is still in a pioneering stage in Africa. She also asks if her letter can be published in The Landmark.
Unsigned letter from Canon Hayes to Company Sergeant O'Neill, Kickham Barracks, Clonmel, thanking him for offering to send boxers to participate in Muintir na Tíre's Civic Week boxing tournament in Bansha but noting that the Tipperary Junior Boxing Championships will now be held in Bansha during the week and it will suffice.

Letter from Canon Hayes to Margaret J. Miller, Minneapolis, Minnesota, responding to her letter of 15 October 1956 (see P134/12/1/1/12/52). He thanks her for her donation to Muintir na Tíre on behalf of her husband Paul ('His memory will be with us here, for he was the kindest man I ever met.'), and states that a memorial to Paul Miller will be erected at Muintir na Tíre's new national headquarters in Tipperary.

-Letter to Father Gian noting that Muintir na Tíre has now been established in England as the Parish Guild Movement, that he has not heard back from President Diệm (see P134/12/1/1/11/10), and that Father de Jaegher ('one of the best authorities on Communism') is now in Saigon and he is sure de Jaegher will help start Muintir na Tíre there (15 December 1956, 1p)
