Photocopy of an article from the 1997 issue of the Connemara cultural magazine Pléaráca on the Bád Mór St. Patrick. The article extensively details the history of the boat, built by the Ó Cathasaigh/Casey brothers for Patrick D. Conroy in 1911, and charts its history as both a working boat in its original role, and as a pleasure boat used by later owner Paddy Barry to enter regattas and travel the North Atlantic and Baltic regions. A digitised version of the magazine is available online at Cartlann Ghaeltacht Chonamara (https://cartlann.ie/items/show/590).

Copy of a letter from John Shannon, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Nyngan, New South Wales, Australia, informing the recipient ('Con') about Reverend Colman J. Casey (1866-1901), uncle of Seán Ó Cathasaigh. Father Casey emigrated to Australia, where he was the parish priest of Nyngan between 1893 and 1898. The author corrects Seán Ó Cathasaigh on two points, stating that Father Casey was transferred to Bourke Parish in 1898 and died as such in 1901, but was buried in Nyngan. The church in the small village of Girilambone, 30 miles northwest of Nyngan, was named St. Colman's in Father Casey's honour after he had it moved and repaired.
