Letter from Jane Elizabeth Roberts, [Ux]bridge Place, Carnarvon, Wales, daughter of George Ormsby and niece to Christopher Ormsby, 134 Rathfarnham Rd., Dublin. In the first letter she refers to the death of Mr. Mills and that "I trust I shall be able to manage the business without taking out administration". Mr. D.E. Blake of Ballinrobe is "our legal adviser and a relative of mine".
Letter from Jane Elizabeth Roberts, [Ux]bridge Place, Carnarvon, Wales, daughter of George Ormsby and niece to Christopher Ormsby, 134 Rathfarnham Rd., Dublin. In the second letter she acknowledges receipt of his letter and an order for £184.12s.4d. and agrees to send an indemnity which will "constitute a legal release for the amount of the legacy due to my late father from the residuary property of my grandfather Thomas Ormsby of Ballinamore". She also requests that he will let her know "in what shares the proceeds of the houses were divided by you, as I always understood from my beloved mother that the shares when distributed would have been larger, as there were only five legatees under my grandfather's will entitled to it".

A note by Mary Lynch on what has been paid out and what is to be paid out of the rent left by Sir Robuck Lynch including amounts for his burial and debts, 28 July 167[ ]. It gives lists of payments from the rent left by Sir Robuck Lynch to pay his debts. Also, the rent of [Ballynew] was given to Mr. Jackson in consideration of debts owed to him and details of other leases.
