He does not recommend giving any abatement despite the "terrible depression in the price of cattle". Glesson offers to pay £16 on account, which he refused but recommends acceptance with his permission, He has received rents in the villages of Snaty and Kilmihil, where most of the tenants are Capt. Callaghan's and in good circumstances. Letter from John Brady, 10 Crescent, Limerick, stating that Major Graham was going to surrender Clover Hill and the castle in November. He also gives details of the account of Patrick Cotter.
Letter from John Brady, commenting that the Quarter Sessions would be in Ennis on the 21st June, and that he would have the lists to him in time for any comments he might have. He states that neither Millane or the Widow Cullinane had paid what they owe, and that the rents are coming in better 'considering the times'.

Letter from E and G Stapleton, solicitor, to John Wilson Lynch, stating that they had told John Brady to accept half year's rent and arrears and £2.10 costs tendered by Cotter and that Mr Gardner was unable to pay the rent of the oyster.
Letter from Edward T Stapleton, solicitor, to John Wilson Lynch, informing him of £51 paid by O'Halloran, less poor rate of £1.18.5 for rent and arrears and encloses cheque. A postscript records that judgement was marked in the Cullinane and Millane cases, and their holdings can be sold whenever he wishes and he presumes Brady will attend at the Court House in Ennis and buy the holdings.
Letter from John Kilkelly, Midland Great Western Railway of Ireland, Solicitor's Office, 46 Upper Mount St., Dublin, to George C. Stapleton, in which he lists nine deeds relating to the nuns of the Presentation Order and others such as George Townsend Browne and B Scott and asking which ones are to be copied.
