This file consists of correspondence with Aer Lingus which includes a query about how it was given its name, and material relating to the use of Irish by the airline and its pilots. It also contains correspondence with the Department of Industry and Commerce and with their own solicitors relating to "Ceist an Bhunreacht agus na gCúpóin Artola" (the availability of Irish language application forms for petrol ration cards) and correspondence with Aer Rianta in relation to bilingual signage and shopping bags. The material in this file which does not relate to Aer Lingus was nonetheless found with it and has therefore been kept together to maintain existing arrangement.
