Holograph letter from H. Wright, [Curriglass][ ], to [Richard] Boyle, Knight [ ], regarding debts owed [and owing], and the ironworks. Regretting he cannot find the [account] regarding debts from Mr. Davies for planks of wood, businesses also involving Mr. [Bouthe/ Booth] and Mr. Ball. [Booth] also to take charge of a debt for iron stock owed to Boyle and to Mr. Fisher. Then warning that action must be taken to avoid closing of the ironworks for the winter - workmen would leave for the many diverse building works around the kingdom and it would be hard to find others again, on reopening. (Reverse holds endorsement and address. Endorsement added to, mentioning Donald Ball taking [ ] to England to be brought to account.)
