He writes of getting Mr Smyth to pay Mr Maurice Blake's costs from '... the time the [settlement] was discharged from your estates and consent was entered into to pay all the costs ... and that he is going to file a bill against you ... regarding the land of [Ganndough] ... which were not submitted to the same referees as those appointed for Killeenhugh and Cloghboley ...'. He refers to the Hennessy case and that '... Mr Orpen and I agree to send the case again to Mr Lefroy ... ' and to the Concannon and Beytagh affair.
