Handwritten fragments of early drafts of 'The Pornographer', reverse side of one of the pages contains a copy of a letter from John McGahern, giving the address 1 Rue Christine, Paris 6 and dated 29 June 1970; the letter is addressed to Patrick and relates to arranging a for Patrick and his partner to 'drop by' John and Madeline's residence. P71/118-120 are almost certainly from around the same date as these fragments.
