Application of Halis Aksakal filed on 3 November 1995 against the Republic of Turkey with the European Commission of Human Rights (application number 37850/97, referred to internally within the Kurdish Litigation Project as Case 234) regarding the alleged 1995 destruction of his home and possessions by State security forces. Kevin Boyle and Françoise Hampson withdrew as representatives in the case on 4 April 1997 as per their letter of withdrawal (attached).
