Scope and content
Kerby A. Miller's transcripts and abstracts of letters written by or to Irish emigrants James Norris and Cathy Greene. James Norris, writing between 1902 and 1938, emigrated to Quebec and became a priest. Cathy Greene, writing to her mother from Brooklyn in 1884, writes that her circumstances are bad, being out of work and full of anxiety borne of intense loneliness. The reference copies of these letters, along with Kerby A. Miller and Stephen J. Sullivan's research on the Greene family, are located in P155/5/2.
