From the O/C of the 1st Western Division Joe Barrett saying that he had been appointed to the army council in place of Frank Barrett former O/C who had been captured and sent to Cork Gaol. Wants to know from the G.H.Q. does his appointment stand. Also Volunteer Keogh (see Pol 37/21) arrived in Mid Clare and is serving its Brigade well.
