Fragment handwritten letter from [Lord Burlington/ his secretary], London, to Drew, [ ], on estate management. Because of Drew's frequent illnesses, sending over a certain Colonel Congreve to assist Drew in all affairs, as well as a certain Dick Bagg. Explaining why John Welsh is discredited as his agent - Bagg will be receiver of all rents, but Welsh may help them in Youghal and the barony. Further concerning collection of rents from Power (Ballyrafter), Cousin Smyth (Ballynetra) and other tenants in lands that were not destroyed by Clancarty; from Robert Carew (mortgagelands). Also stating that rents from [Kinnatalloon] barony are received by Roger Power for Burlington's son Clifford, while lands at Capoquin and [Dayes] are signed to trustees for payment of Clifford's debts. For now, leaving [Okill] and any struggle with the soldiery to one side. Orders to turn out one Irishman from the Parke and find tenant for the other lodge. [Damaged and fragile.]
