Materials regarding a 1931 memoir written by Michael Pathe. Pathe was born in Nenagh, County Tipperary in 1892 and emigrated to St. Louis, Missouri in 1910 after completing his studies at the Jesuit Mungret College in Limerick. Pathe wrote his 1931 memoir, A Summer in Ireland, about his return visit to Ireland in 1929. Series includes Kerby A. Miller's typescript copy of section of A Summer in Ireland (Madison: Cantwell Press, 1931), along with a photocopy of the text, and Miller's research notes.
