Comprising photocopies from Ibsen's play with some handwritten comments; extensive notes and drafts for Act 1 (refill pad and loose paper), for Acts 1 and 2 (marked "three copies sent to Phyllis Ryan"); draft letter (back of refill pad). The draft letter (recipient unnamed) sketches Kilroy's plan to adapt the play so that it deals with AIDS; mentions actors such as Norman Rodery and Brenda Fricker; states his preference for Rough Magic, and aversion to the Abbey Theatre because of antagonism with Carolyn Swift. [Drafts pertain to the three-act version - Act 3 is missing.]
