This series relates to the various Conradh na Gaeilge (CnaG) campaigns including the [civil/language] Rights campaign; campaign to make Irish an official language in Europe; Education campaign; Buy Irish campaign; Prisoners' Rights campaign; Media / Broadcasting Campaign; TV Licence Campaign; Recruiting Campaign and Fundraising Campaign. It also relates to several law cases that arose from or led to these campaigns. In addition, material also relates to non CnaG campaigns of interest to the organisation such as the Irish Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Irish Anti-Apartheid Movement and the Irish International Peace Movement. Material consists primarily of correspondence, cuttings and press releases.
