Material relating to events which took place in 1992 during Mary Robinson (MR)'s presidency including certificate from The Jewish Home of Ireland, marking official opening of the home's new extension, by MR, 05/04/1992; typed letter from Dermot Kinlen in relation to visit to County (Co.) Kerry of the King and Queen of Sweden, thanking MR for his invite to be a guest at lunch with Swedish Royal family, and making reference to both a museum in Sneem and The Daniel O'Connell Association, 13/04/1992; programme for official opening of Abbey Centre, Ballyshannon, 03/06/1992; booklet and typed letters to MR and to Bride Rosney, Special Adviser to the President, from John Stephenson, Programme Director, in relation to a proposed project, "2000:Island", to run from 1993 to 2000 for Millennium programme, a major European cultural project and which was still under wraps, 25/06/1992; photocopies of correspondence from Irene Natividad, Summit Director, 1992 Global Summit of Women, Visions for the Future, Dublin, 9-12 July 1992, including executive summary, agenda and list of confirmed speakers and photocopy of newspaper cutting, Washington International on the event, 14/04-19/05/1992; certificate from Chairman of Ballina Salmon Festival, proclaiming MR honourable citizen of the barony of Tyrawley, on Heritage Day, 15/07/1992; list of engagements for week commencing 27th July 1992; certificate from The Family Tree Scheme marking that an oak tree was planted in the grounds of Phoenix Park, in honour of President Robinson, to celebrate the visit to Áras an Uachtaráin, of the Lesbian and Gay Community of Dublin, 12/12/1992; material relating to the Galway region including itinerary for visit 10th December, partial draft address, "Hidden Conamara", book based on Letterfrack Heritage Project, and material relating to Cruinniu na mBád Teo [The Gathering of Boats festival, Kinvara, Co. Galway] which MR was unable to attend at the time, as she was in the area on holidays, but which she kept on file 31/01-10/12/1992.
