Estate Duty form C-1, account of property chargeable with estate duty on death of Denis St George Daly. A receipt for a payment of £9,738.10.10. was stamped on 28 July 1948 and a repayment of £2,063.13.6. was made on 23 June 1949. Includes pages containing calculations of jointure and portion shares. Also letter from Estate Duty Office, Harrow, England, to ‘Gentlemen’ [Darley, Orpen and McGillycuddy] relating to estate duty to be paid on the ‘slice’ of the whole property, which was charged with the payment of jointure to Rose Zara Daly (23 May 1950).
