Set of index cards describing some of the local features of the townland of Drimmeen, [An Droimín]. Included are descriptions of Cloch an Mhairnéalach, the Boat Harbour (and the Byrne family of Lombard Street in Dublin, who acquired the land through the Landed Estates Court. A local man believes the harbour was built by John Byrne as famine relief work), a note on the House of John Byrne located at the Boat Harbour, with an illustration of the Byrne family crest, and some biographical information about John Byrne. Also included are descriptions of Roisín (an area of deserted village), Iorras Fhlannain (the site of a drowning in 1860), a kelp store, Dúilic, Ard Mór, An Chois, Oileán Rois, and The Spectacles. Festy Conneely or Turbot, and M. King are credited as being local sources of information.
