Handwritten drafts [one by Brendan Duddy] and typescript version of a communiqué from the Republican Movement, stating that they will continue to promote the process by which the people of Ireland and Britain are working towards a lasting settlement: 'we ask; Is the British Government, willing to explore the conditions, and timings, needed for this dialogue to begin?' (Date is supplied on the handwritten item not by Duddy. With a caption by [Éamonn Downey] dating the piece and stating that it is not mentioned in Sinn Féin's Setting the record straight , and that one of the handwritten versions may be by 'D.B.'[ ] and ought to be compared to particular other pieces.)
