Letter from Dermot O'Conor DOnelan, Vannur, to his mother, stating that he is sorry to hear that John has been ill. He stastes that he is a little behind in Algebra as in Clongowes they learned the different pieces of mathematics one part at a time, but that he is getting there. "The poor french prisoners are in great spirits at the thought of returning home and of the vengence which they are determined to take". Asks to be remembered to everyone.
