Deed of lease between Robert Hedges Eyre of Macroom Castle, County Cork, and Richard Adams of Galway, merchant, in consideration of his surrender of his 1820 lease and the payment of £46.16.11. To hold the property on the south side of Merchant's Road bound by Denis Clarke's and Laurence McDonough's holdings at a yearly rent of £49.16.11, forever. It is agreed that the lessee shall not seek compensation from the lessor in relation to any road going through his property, but it does not preclude him from seeking compensation from the Grand Jury. It is also agreed that any new docks at the rear of the premises shall not be constituted as part of the property.
