Scope and content
Transcripts of three letters written between 1812 and 1818 to David Bailie Warden (1772-1845), a United Irishman insurgent of 1798 who became United States consul in Paris. Two letters are from his sister Eliza Curtis in Baltimore, Maryland; another is from Matilda Wolfe Tone, widow of Theobald Wolfe Tone. Attached is a photocopy of a biography of Warden from an unidentified publication.
