Cuttings of pages from The New Yorker featuring the story 'Strandhill, The Sea' , first 2 pages missing; begins '...morning by the flower bed, with one addition- Miss Evans, a girl in her early twenties, and pretty in a soft way, who danced every night of the week in the Silver Slipper down on the strand and never got out of bed before lunch-time.' This version of the story which was published under the title 'Summer at Strandhill' differs considerably from the version published in ' Nightlines' .
