Copybook containing a number of handwritten draft of 'Honeyed Words, A Summer Story'' beginning 'I grew up in the living quarters of a police barracks in a village along the Boyle river, a small tributary of the Shannon, the three bars....' Also contains a review of 'The Love of the Last Tycoon: A Western' by F. Scott Fitzgerald, edited by Matthew J. Bruccoli which was first published under the title 'A Legend After His Own Lifetime' in The Irish Times on 12 November 1994, begins 'Scott Fitzgerald has suffered the unenviable fate for a writer of his life becoming more famous in the more than fifty years since it ended than his work.' Also contains a handwritten draft of part of 'Galway, Western Ireland's Lilting Heart' beginning 'On the road from Newport we pass by strands below Mulrany before crossing the Bridge across the narrow sound on to Achill Island, the largest Island in Ireland.'
