Copy of petition from Richard [Boyle] Earl of Cork, to Baron of Inchiquin, Governor for the Province of Munster; and order following the petition. Cork presents the case of his late debtor William [d'Aunte], who had sold corn from the lands of Tracton Abbey on his behalf but had given the sum in keeping with James [d'Aunte], and of the money now being seized by William's own creditor Thomas Nivell, Cork; asking for redress. Copy of Inchiquin's order for the defendant to pay the Lord Treasurer that sum of £20-10-00, or show proof to the contrary. (One page holds endorsement only.)
