Copy of a letter from the Inspector General of Civil Hospitals, Lucknow, to Peter Freyer, Mirzapur, asking for copies of the 2 letters of 1st and 2nd Feb and enclosing a copy of his letter of 2nd Feb 'the other, I take it, being an unfinished draft sent to you by mistake and which must therefore be considered as cancelled'. He states that there is nothing in the letter that a junior officer might not receive from his superior and he considers Freyer's reply 'so disrespectful and insubordinate' that he has submitted it 'for the orders of Govt'. Includes copy of letter of 2nd Feb 1895 [see P57/117].
