Handwritten draft of an article, 'On the Road to the Congress by The Royal Mail', written by Father Hayes for the Irish Independent, where a condensed version was published as 'An Irish Pilgrim's Path to World Eucharistic Congress', 4 October 1934. Father Hayes writes about some of his experiences en route to the 34th International Eucharistic Congress held in Buenos Aires, 10-14 October 1934, prefaced with an introduction summarising European and Irish Catholic history in Argentina. Includes corrections and passages not included in draft P134/12/1/2/5/2.
