Material in this file relates to the administration of Áras an Uachtaráin, the official residence of the President of Ireland, for 1994. It includes correspondence relating to staffing and administration at Áras an Uachtaráin including typed memo from Kay Gleeson to Ann Lane, [Personal Assistant to the President], noting that the presentation of New Year's Greetings to the President and Mr Robinson by the Diplomatic Corps had been arranged for the following January 11th, 02/11/1994; handwritten report from Aide-de-Camp Comdt. Dermot O'Connor, photocopy of same and of post-it note from MR noting her concern and requesting full report, and follow-up memo from Peter Ryan to MR, in relation to a security breach involving a drunk member of the public getting as far as the door of the Áras, the subsequent investigation being carried out with report due via Department of Justice, and recognition of structural problems with existing security arrangements, 27-28/11/1994.
