Scope and content
[This series contains outdated attitudes or language that does not reflect the current views or positions of the University of Galway Library. Reader discretion is advised.]
Transcripts of three letters sent by Andrew Wilson from Easton, Pennsylvania, to Eliza Patrick (possibly in Ballymena) and to his nephew. In addition to family news and his observations on American life, Wilson discusses agricultural overreliance in Ireland and argues for continued emigration to decrease population density. He also makes derogatory statements about Catholicism.
