A letter written in pencil, in which he writes of sending the affidavit '" drawn by Mr Connally with a few alterations only "' and that ' " Mr Blake goes to the Exchequer Bank in place of Baron [William Cusack] Smith and will be succeeded by Mr Walter O'Grady as Chief Remembrancer'. The affidavit is on the back of the letter and relates the case in the Court of Chancery between Edward James Beytagh and another against Edmond John Concannon and others concerning the rents of Rinn and Ballynastaig [parish of Killeely] part of the lands of Dunkellin, County Galway. Affidavit signed and sworn before Stephen Madden on 11 December 1830 and posted back to B Browne, second postmark dated 13 December 1830. [Note: Anthony Richard Blake was still Chief Remembrancer in 1834].
