Marriage Settlement of John Ormsby and Margaret Ruttledge. The parties are (1) Thomas Ormsby of Cummnin, Co. Sligo (2) John Ormsby, his eldest son and heir (3) Peter Ruttledge of Carrowkillen, Co. Mayo and Thomas Ruttledge of Cornfield, his eldest son and heir, and Margaret, second daughter of Thomas. George Knox of Sligo, Richard Wood of Leaffiny, Co. Sligo, Anthony Ormsby of Ballinamore and William Ruttledge of Dublin, merchant, trustees. Marriage portion of £2000 to be paid by Peter and Thomas Ruttledge. Witnesses Abraham Martin, James McDonagh, George Hartt and Christopher Bowen. Refers to a 'lease and release by way of settlement' and to levy a fine and suffer a common recovery of lands in Co. Sligo and one townland in Co. Roscommon, dated 3 and 4 Oct. 1762.
