Letter from M[ary] J[ane] Lynch, 43 Medela Four, Passy, Paris, describing her astonishment that 'we four are the sole heirs to poor dear Eddie's property, in case no will be found'. She and Fanny approve of him taking out administration and she wants the Miss Geoghegans to inherit the property without any deductions. She refers to G[eorge] Stapleton having agreed to pay Eddie £300 per annum on succeeding to "poor Edward's business". She has had masses said for Eddie.
