Letter from E[mily] Le Poer Trench, Charleville, [Co Cork][Emily's sister Lucy married Robert Maxwell of Charleville, Co Cork on 13 Sept 1835}, to her uncle Hon Captain [Robert] Le Poer Trench, St [Clerans], Loughrea, thanking him for speaking for her on behalf of Mr Warburton. They have decided to give up their engagement 'for a time at least ... neither of us liked the idea of such poverty'.
