There has been a delay with post, and she now realises he has not yet received her previous letters. She advises Margaret is no longer coming to visit, and the reasons why, and writes about how much she misses him, with an update on their daughter.

Gives updates on Toots' vaccinations, Mr Flanagan's wedding, and how much they miss him and hope he doesn't have to travel again so soon. Wonders if her previous correspondence has caught up with him yet.

Personal letter about how naughty Toots has been since her vaccinations, her disinclination to play with dolls, and how much she has grown. Writing from 1823 Ellis Street.

Apologises for not writing sooner and is grateful for the frequent letters she gets from 'Mamie', O'Shaughnessy's wife. Mentions John's marriage to Minnie Liston, and mentions her relationship with 'J H' has fallen through, "he has given up all hopes of father's consent to a connection between us", she mentions her own earlier hesitation with the relationship. She writes of her intention to go to Colorado, and her frustrations with their father. Mentions Michael Moloney is considering contesting a "seat in House and means to stand for W. Clare". Speaks frankly about John's drinking, mentions her bad relationship with Ellie (a sister?) and updates on their other sister, Maria.

Details on the wedding, their sister Ellie's absence, and the marriage settlement. 9 Sep 1892.

Handwritten letter to O'Shaughnessy from his sister, Margaret, with details of her trip to London with her new husband, and asking him to draw up a plan for a farm house for them. An update on their brother John, their parents, and asking them to send a picture of little Peggy. 27 Oct 1892.
